This is a great venue and cinema located in the heart of central London on Regent Street.
We came to see the National Theatre screening of Fleabag. Booked online and was great experience. The staff were very friendly, the seats were very comfortable, and the screen great too! I wish I had known the seating was so vertical (?) as I would have booked closer but still great viewing!
They also have drinks, cocktails, beers, and snacks available.
I would definitely visit again and highly recommend.

What is there to say. The first cinema in Britain. Looks old?
Nice down to earth personnel who sold my friend and me on a new sort of popcorn. Incredible.
The sound system is pristine, but the projector leaves me wanting...
Good experience though.
This cinema had long been on my list and I finally visited during their Xmas season where tickets were amazingly priced at £10 each- bargain for central London. There isn't hot food on offer but there is a full bar, plenty of hot drinks to choose from and a variety of snacks, including sweets, popcorn and chocolate. The cinema screening itself felt more like going to watch a West End show due to the style of the theatre. Great experience and friendly staff!
Lovely cinema! Such a cute vibe. Hidden neighborhood gem. Been working around Oxford Str for years and never knew there was a cinema. They do £6 tickets on Tuesdays! What a bargain.
I’d advise not to get back row seats unless you have hawk vision.
Otherwise clean, good vibes.
I never knew this place existed. It's the ultimate historical cinema. It even has a 1920s organ for atmospherics.
Lovely, helpful staff. In the cinema itself you get a good view of screen in middle section, front row back. Think it might be a bit cut off if you're at the back on the extreme left or right. Seats comfy and a place in arm rest for your g+t!
Take a step back into history with a gem of a cinema in the centre of London in warm and pleasant surroundings. The staff, the ambiance, the surroundings all make for a pleasant experience.
Try the Matinee on Mondays (discount for over 55's) or Chooseday Tuesday where you can see a new release on most occasions for a price you choose from £6.
This is my Cinema of choice
The James Bond Casino royale event was really good!
Britain's first cinema! Who knew? Comfortable, very central. Has a bar.
Disappointing...! The cinema was overheated and the seating was TRULY awful; hard as stone and very uncomfortable. My knees were rubbing against the back of the seat infront and I'm only 5ft 5ins. This, combined with my aching back from the …
